Listora is a free, editor-kept index of the web — currently 794 websites sorted by hand into 22 plain topics. It revives the idea behind the classic early-web directories: people group sites by subject, rather than an opaque algorithm ranking them, so you can browse and discover instead of second-guessing search terms.
How we review listings
A human checks every submission before it appears. We confirm a site is real, reachable, and filed under the right topic, and we lift a short description from the site itself so each listing is honest about what it offers. Malware, deceptive pages, and thin doorway sites are turned away.
Outbound links carry rel="nofollow" — Listora is a directory, not a link-selling scheme. We curate by hand precisely so the catalogue stays useful instead of sliding into spam.
Free, always
Listing your website costs nothing. There is no paid tier, no "priority review" charge, and no upsell — unlike the old paid directories. The index grows because real owners add real sites.
